to all the crafty gum paste users I have a question. I am wondering if anyone has made sun glasses or eye glasses out of gum paste before? If so did you use a pattern? or where could I find a pattern with out buying a real pair and destroy them. I am needing to make them to add to my cookie bouquets that are 50's theme.

Are you wanting to make them 3D or just 2D? I just made a pair of 2D sunglasses for a cake I did out of fondant. You can see it in my photos. I just drew them on a sheet of paper, cut it out, and then used that as template to cut them out of the fondant with an exacto knife. Hope this helps!
