I would say about 1/16 of a inch if not 1/8

first of all I love them! but I too often struggle with the thickness.........my first reaction is to say the chips are perfect (that is a realistic thickness) the cards perhaps could have been thinner...of course that would have made them hard to not stretch out when placing them on the cake!

I would try to make them a realistic as possible. In other word the poker chips should be the same thickness as actual poker chips and the playing pretty close to the actual thickness of real playing cards.

How close the fondant playing cards are to the real thing may depend on the fondant you are using, but you should be able to get fairly close. Fondant rolled that thin will have to dry in place before you can move them to the cake. Of course the thinner they the fast they dry.
