How do I group and decorate 12 - 24 cupcakes to look like spider-man's head? I have seen this done in supermarkets.

Get out your cake board and play around with them until you get them arrange where it looks like a head. Place them close together. You can use a dab of icing to glue them to the board, and then ice the tops with red and decorate like his head/face.
