I live in BC Canada and have searched high and low for CD classes in my area and am totally frustrated at the lack of supply!!!!! Ive taken the 3 level Wilton courses several times but am looking for something more advanced so I can further my skills. Videos just dont cut it, practising helps but how do I know if Im doing it right!! Dont know if anyone out there can help - dont think so as Im sure most of CC members are from the US and judging by my search results - US residents dont have the same problem - lots of classes available throughout the US -- lucky you guys!!! Oh well - sorry for the rant but Im ticked. Thanks for listening. ![]()

Dont think I havent thought about it!!! Was thinking of making it a vacation type trip - leave the dh at home and travel to class -- Ive been looking in the american cake decorating mags and found a few.
I got lessons from a lady in her house, it was one on one and was a great help I just paid her cash for the lessons when I had them (we scheduled them for times that suit us both). Do you have any cake decorating associations/clubs near you maybe one of their members could teach you or there might even be someone off CC nearby that might be willing to help you.

Canada (at least the west coast) seems to be lacking in CD associations/clubs -- I keep looking but most are in the east (Ontario). I guess I will just have to keep trying to get enrolled in the one culinary school that offers Saturday cd courses as well as reading my ACD mags, and watching this site for ideas. If I win the lottery -- Im starting up my own cd school!!!! Thanks everyone for your support.
