I would love to take a Wilton class but there is not one around my area close enough. Has anyone taken the wilton classes through tapes? Or has anyone got any ideas on how to learn without the classes?

it'll be tougher without the verbal instruction and being able to watch your instructor do it first. but you can just buy the wilton coursebooks on ebay. maybe other places too. they'll help you get the basics. you can also check out several books from the library. i don't know about any videos.... maybe try the wilton website?

I would say go to their website and watch the short clip videos and read thru the tutorials on decorating techniques. Then just start practicing! I still go to their website to learn how to do certain flowers...its really quite informative!!! thumbs_up.gif
