All right, so after reading THREE pages of favorites, I've realized that bamboo spoons, spatulas, and stones (how do you wash those?) are what almost everyone has. Well, gosh, my list of ten things doesn't even have any of those on it. Here is my list, can you tell me if you have used these items, and if they are worth purchasing?

Oh yeah, what is the thing called everyone is talking about that lets peanut butter slide right out the other end?

I sold it for a while also, so I have plenty. If you don't have it, the stone is great. The cookie scoops in all sizes are wonderful. I broke my food chopper and I used it almost every day, even though I use to make fun of the idea before I got it. Recipes are great. I love soup, so I got the little collection for soups and they are so easy and taste better than a lot of restaurants. Dessert recipes are great!!! Always get the $1 recipe book. The scrapers and spatulas are great, even better than a wooden spoon for your pans. Get the little metal spatula, it is the perfect size for party desserts. Garlic press is great if you need one. I hated the soap and lotion, but I have sensitive skin.

It is hard to believe, but some of the items are better than you can get anywhere else, but some are no big deal. These that I mentioned are worth spending the money on. I know there are a lot more, but I can't think of them now. Have fun!

Pizza stone - the best! A lot of my old favorites are now sold cheaper at Walmart, at a comparable quality.

I love my garlic press (hate chopping garlic!), hold-n-slice (for splitting english muffins), wooden tongs (for getting stuff out of toaster - I'm a heat wimp!), definitely the stacking cooling racks (I have 4 and want more!!). I think that's it......not sure. I don't have a stone, but have been thinking about getting one! I have a spatula that I love, but don't know which one it is (it's not the curved ones).

I have a bit of pampered chef stuff...some of which I haven't used to this day icon_redface.gif

I will say that regarding the "why buy Pampered chef when you can buy better quality elsewhere" is a valid question.

There have been non pampered chef stuff that I have bought, and in less than 2 months of owning it, it was ruined.
Then there are the items I've bought that were pampered chef stuff, they broke, and I had a devil of a time getting pampered chef to replace it...it wasn't until I threatened to go to the BBB that they finally replaced the item!

Normally though w/ my kitchen stuff...I'm not picky on brand name as much as I am on my colour. I love JcPenneys...they have purple silicone spatula's icon_smile.gif

Spoon Rest-love it!

Kid safe cutter-my son loves it!

Just bought my first stone wear-still waiting for it and the slanted measuring cups can't wait for!

There are some things I think you're better off getting somewhere else. The silicone spatulas I wanted to but but didn't want to spend the $ and ended up finding 3 for $15 at linens n things.

The stones you just wash with water and this nylon pan scraper (one comes with the stone).

The measure all cup is the thing that lets pb slide right out. I used my just the other day when making bc to get the shortening out. It measures up to 2 cups of liquid or dry ingredients.

The large cookie scoop is great. I use it all the time for muffins, cupcakes, pancake batter, really big cookies. I had no trouble getting one of my scoops replaced when the scraper thing got bent. You just need to keep your receipts. A good tip I got from my consultant was to just put it under the silverware holder in the drawer.

Hope that helps!

I actually sell Pampered Chef and I don't know what I ever would do without my measure all cup to make frosting! It's the best thing ever and my best seller.
I know some people say PC can be too expensive, but there's so many things that we have that are under $10 and are things you might be able to get somewhere else, but our guarantee and waranty alone will make you want to get it with PC.
You will probably see soooo much stuff you want... if that's the case... book a show off your friend! It totally is worth it! OK, I'll stop on my sales kick now. I just get so excited about it. I love my job! icon_biggrin.gif

this is a loaded question for me. I have a lot of stuff in the kitchen of PC and I don't know how I could pick my favorite. I will address the items you are asking about first.

-Cake Stencil-don't own
-Decorator bottle set - don't own and want to wait for opinions b/c to me they seem like they would be hard to clean... but my rep didn't have any for me to look at close up.
-Handy Scraper - I own it but don't use it a lot, but I don't do a lot of stuff that I use it for
-Large Scoop - Aboslutely love it, I have all three sizes and use them all the time, Meatballs, cookies, Cupcakes/muffins (large size is perfect for regular size, small scoop is perfect for minis)
-Can Strainer - Just got it and like it, It was perfect when I made blueberry muffins I was able to drain the juice then put the berries in it to rinse, it was the perfect size.
-i-slice - don't own but is on my next to buy list
-Cut-N-Seal - don't own yet, but want it, My BF's sister has it and uses it almost daily for her kids, they really like it
-Hold-N-Slice - don't own, I don't have a need for it
-Ice Cream Sandwhich maker - don't own

And I can't pick my favorite, but here is a list of some of the things I love the most:
Bamboo spoons/spatulas - love them b/c I can use them on my Non-stick items and they are great
Classic Scraper - I should really own about 3 or 4 b/c I use it all the time
Other scrapers - Use them a lot to, Love them for heat resistance and stain resistent. I left the small one in a can of spagetti sauce over night one time and It was clean after just a couple of normal hand washings
Lg round stone and Medium size
All the bar pans
Prep bowl set - I couldn't live without these, they are perfect size for prep work, single servings for lunches, and extra measuring cups! they have measurments on side
Batter bowls-Use them to prep meatballs, meatloaf, and Manicotti mixture then put lid on it and put in fridge until ready to use
The cookware - I have the professional series and love it. I got mine when hosting a show and this is definitely the best way to go about it i think.
I also have a lot more and don't think i would say anything bad about any of it. I like it all!

Well, I'm nervous for some reason, but here is the order I just placed with my consultant.

-Nylon Pan Scrapers
-Hold 'N Slice (I have a real problem with cutting tomatoes without squishing them to pieces)
-Cut-N-Seal
-Large Scoop
-Artichoke Handy Scraper x 2 (One of my new friends collects green stuff for her kitchen, so I thought this would be a nice "for no reason at all" gift for her)

What do you guys think?

It's always a great birthday or Christmas for me since my sister sells PC. I have been very happy with almost everything I have purchased or received.

4 cooling racks, LOVE, can't do without
4 pizza (cookie) stones. can't do without, I cry when one gets broke but happy to get a new one for free.
Roaster, still amazed at the difference in cooking.
casserole dishes.
deep dish pie stones
bunt cake stone
zester,
spatula's and cooking utensiles.
large and small measuring cups. I threw away all my old measuring cups and class measuring cups.
scrapers. Love and can't do without

This list can go on and on. The most treasured are my pizza/cookie stones and life time Pots and pans. (Pans guaranteed for life) The cookie stones are "no fail" baking for me unless I fail to watch the time. I love the way they bake. If the tops are nice golden brown you can bet the bottoms are the same. They never burn on the bottom unless I failed to watch the time.

The life time pots and pans I had for 5 years now and they are the most durable things I have ever had in my kitchen.

I love my PC rep..... *smile*

I LOVE the double rolling pin thing that they have. It has a large roller at one end and a smaller one on the other side. It works great to roll out fondant, RBC or candy clay. I also use it to roll out pizza dough. My mom saw it and almost stole mine. I had to buy her one.
