Hi To My Fellow CC People
So far, I've been taking in all the advices and ideas out there. This is my first time posting. My son's teacher has asked me to do Dr. Seuss cupcakes for their celebration of his birthday on Friday. I have no idea what to decorate them with. I thought about doing a replica of his hat on eat cupcake or green eggs and ham. I'm just not sure. I didn't want to do anything too time consuming since I already have 2 birthday cakes and 1 wedding cake this week. All ideas and suggestion are welcome.
Thanks
Charisse
the first thing i thought of was the hat... which would be pretty easy.. i would make them out of white chocolate molding clay and paint 3 stripes around it.. make it tip like a whimsical cake.. i'd only make it about 2 inches high if that, then i just place them on top colorful iced cupcakes.. .. sounds fun... love to see a pic when youre done!!
OH and WELCOME to the insanity!!! ![]()
I would think chocolate transfers or royal icing run outs would be easier as you can do them in mass.....
just draw, print or trace out the design, lie a piece of acetate or parchment paper on top and copy the image (see whimsical bakehouse book for ideas on chocolate transfers/method)
I would do a whole theme, some red fish, blue fish, the hat, perhaps Horton.....
