Color??

I need to make a flesh tone color in buttercream and I have lots of wiltons gel colors. Does anyone know what to mix to get a flesh tone color???

I always use a teeny tiny bit of ivory. It tends to darken up, so just use a touch. I really like the color. Hope this helps.

I too use ivory or a small amount of pink with a small amount of yellow added to make flesh.

A TINY amount of orange will do the trick too!

I have used variations of almost all of the above mentioned color combinations....lol. It's sort of a trial and error type of thing...just try different ones until you come up with a flesh tone that you like. icon_smile.gif

I have a flesh colour petal dust, you only need to use a tiny bit in buttercream to get a good flesh colour.

pink, yellow, orange...mix until you get something slightly lighter than the color you want. go easy on the orange though...or you'll get an oompa-loompa color (i did that once, thankfully it was for family. we all had a good laughicon_lol.gif)

Peach works well too depending on the shade you want. I also use copper a lot! Be careful not to add to much color. It darkens as it crusts.
