I'm making my 4th week wiltons cake for course 1 for tonight. Its white cake with cherry filling. I have not used filling much and was wondering how long will the cake stay fresh with it? Thanks!
PS: I was planning on keeping it in the fridge till Sunday and then serving.

I keep mine in the fridge for up to one week if not a little longer.
Also, I glaze mine with apricot jam before I do anything. That makes it seal in the moisture for me and gives me less crumbs to worry about.
