Okay ladies and gents! I'm giving my 2 kids (dd will be 4 and ds will be 3) a Peter Pan/Neverland themed party this year. Their b-days are 11 days apart, so we just do one party. I'm looking for ideas for a cake that will be fun for a boy AND a girl. My kids love the movie, but they don't seem to have favorite characters, so I guess anything is fair game. The invitations will be on rainbow/cloud paper with a map of Neverland. I love Oliviamommy's pirate ship cake in the gallery, but that doesn't address the girls at the party. Any suggestions??? TIA!

Happy Baking,
Beth

my 1st instinct was the pirate ship ........what about the lost boys and wendy.........
could you incorporate that......what about the bed room scene just after they leave for neverland.....how about a empty bed, with a bear on it and a clever saying ....

sorry i wish I had one already thought up but it late ...

Ill keep thinking about this one .....I love neverland....and tink....

Lastingmoments, your Tinkerbelle cake is ADORABLE!!! And I could make the tree trunk look like Deadman's tree. What did you use for the trunk?

it was a last minute thing .....I almost forgot About my little sisters birthday....( I had her tinkerbell for about 3 months my mom was so excited) so go figure that i forgot....so I just grabbed a plastic cup the disposable kind off my counter left over from xmas and cover in fondant. I rolled it out and just tore pieces and patched on to give it a rougn and tree like effect.

Good luck

That is so funny! I've said it before- necessity truly is the mother of invention! I'm so glad to hear that it wasn't some really neat vase that you found on clearance somewhere- I know I can buy a plastic cup. LOL Thank you for sharing your idea!
