I have a warming tray that I found at a flea market a few years ago. I use it for keeping foods warm but mostly for melting and keeping melted chocolate. My mom has one that I remember her using when I was a kid for the same thing.

Anyone have an idea where they could be found now? I tried a few places with no luck. I'm not really sure if they are even made anymore!

I have an electric skillet that I rarely use, and was wondering if I could use that set on a very low temp. for a warming tray.

I planned to try it last week, but never got around to it.

Has anyone ever tried that, and more importantly, does it work?

Laura.

Laura, I have used an electric skillet, just make sure if you use water in the skillet, that you don't get it in your chocolate.
