I know you must have to buy a special 'edible paper' but how do you get the image onto the edible paper and where do you buy such a thing? Do you have to take it (the picture to have copied) to a bakery to do?

Just wondering. It would be neat to 'surprise' someone with a special picture.

I do the images all the time at my bakery - you just use a printer with edible ink and the edible paper and just print off like you would anything else. not hard at all. but if you are just wanting to one cake with this - not worth the investment. Alot of the bakeries around here (including me) will just print off a picture and give that to someone if they were doing their own cake.

Thanks...I guess it wouldn't be worth the investment...I'm just starting out in this but I thought it would be nice for someone special.

I did the same thing for my sister-in-law last November.
I emailed sugarcraft.com and they printed the picture onto the icing paper and mailed it to me. Very pleased and very fast shipping.
I'm sure there are a lot of other places online you could check or in your town. Good Luck icon_smile.gif
