I just had to share with everyone. I finally tackled making a cake with roll out frosting. I used candy clay to cover my cinderella doll. It wasn't as smooth as I would have liked it. So I covered her with luster dust. Everyone loved it. I was so nervous to make her, because I have such high expectations and then when it doesn't turn out I get discouraged. But this time I had promised my niece that I would make her a cinderella cake. So I had to bite the bullet and do it. I am so glad that I did.

I got this idea from sue_dye.

You can see it in my pictures. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to let me know.

Great job!!!! Congrats. Question re: the candy clay. What do you think of the taste? I've tried it but nobody would eat it. Said it was worse than the Witon fondant.

kakedecorator: I like the taste of the candy clay. I used white chocolate chips. I have used it on NFSC and it really tasted good on there too. My original plan was to use RBC on her dress but it just was too soft and kept tearing. So plan b went into effect. I had some Candy Clay made so I colored that and used it. I did have to add a little violet to the clay to turn it white because it has a yellow tint to it. But I like the taste.
