I'm still not finished with my Christmas shopping!! icon_redface.gif Got most ..but still need some things for the in-laws and stocking stuffers. I'm like this every year! Each year...I make a promise that I will not wait till the last minute to get all of my shopping done...and every year I break that promise!! icon_cry.gif

Have ya'll finished or ....am I the only one that hasn't?!?!? icon_cry.gificon_redface.gif

I still have to head out to the store myself. I also have last minutes Christmas shopping for the inlaws who invited themselves for the holiday. I am stuck at home right noww since I dont trust them watching my kids and my DH is still at work! Leaving me alone with the inlaws that dont like me in the first place. Yippee! Now I have to go and fight traffic and the rudeness at the malls on top of that. Wish me luck!

Not done yet! Christmas is the 25th every year right? So why don't I get a clue and start earlier?? I am a procrastinator and believe it or not cake decorating is helping me get over it. There are just soooo many things in cake decorating that you can't put off due to drying time and the such.

Been done, but had to go out to get last minute things like molasses. The first store was sold out of molasses. Does anyone even buy molasses at any other time of the year?

And what the heck is mincemeat? icon_razz.gif

Ouch!! I feel for you!! I won't even start on my in-laws because I could go on and on ....and some not so nice words would come out!! icon_mad.giftapedshut.gificon_twisted.gif I hate going to buy for them because they don't ever like what I get them and hubby won't go shopping for them!! I really hate going to their house on Christmas...but hubby makes me!! icon_cry.gif

I do the same thing!. I promise myself EVERY year that next year will be different. I tell myself that I'll start a club so I can save money throughout the year, but it never happens. And even if I begin a couple months ahead, I'm still up late the night before, wrapping, organizing and finishing up. I still have to go today and pick up a few last minute items. Then I have to go home and clean house tonight because we are celebrating with my step-children tomorrow so they can be with their mother on Christmas day. My husband is being a grouch, my mom and my mother in law both are changing plans all around. It's so frustrating. Ugh!! Isn't this supposed to be a happy time of year?
