I think people here have said about putting it in the fridge. I think they say the cold helps it dry faster. I'm not sure though. I think a piece that big may take days to dry regardless. For reference, I made some small holly leaves on Saturday and Tuesday they were still a little soft. They were about an 1/8" thick.
I wouldn't put it in the fridge. It will get condensation. If it's a dark color, you will have color running issues.
Use either the light in your oven ( put it in your oven with the light on--Don't turn the oven on) or a desk lamp that has a bendable neck (so that you can position it over the piece) to dry the MMF. Also, make sure your MMF is rolled out very thin. The thinner the MMF, the less time it will take to dry.

dont put it in the fridge, it will sweat on you!
I rolled out some designs on wax paper and it was dry the next day..not HARD dry, but dry enough to put on the cake. I don't know..maybe a hair dryer? Would that work?
