Well I can't find the recipe card I had it written on
I was going to use it this weekend . ![]()
I think it's the Crusting BC by edencakes. Looked really familiar
Here's a link http://www.cakecentral.com/cake_recipe-2047-14-Crusting-Cream-Cheese-Icing.html
Good luck ![]()
I had the same problem as Silvercat. My crusting cream cheese icing crusted too much and wrinkled -- kind of looked like an elephant's hide. Luckily, I was covering it w/ daisies. Does anyone know what caused that? The icing (the crusting cream cheese icing from this site) tasted wonderful, but I would like to be able to get it smooth next time.
Well by sheer accident I came across the recipe I used. I tried to find it on here again but I don't see it, so maybe I found it some where else. Did I mention I have like 50 note cards with recipes I've jotted down from the net. ![]()
Anyway here's the one I used (Turtle cake in my photos)
Cream Cheese Decorator Icing
1 - 8oz package Cream Cheese
1/2 stick of Butter
1/2 cup crisco
1 tsp vanilla
dash of salt
1 1/2 - lbs of powder sugar
Cream together cream cheese, butter and crisco. Add vanilla and salt. Mix in sugar until desired consistency.
It's been a while since I've used it but it was Yuuuummmy and the same consistency as the class BC ![]()
