no...i had posed the same question not too long ago and was told that if you wrap it really good and freeze it, then it will still be fresh for saturday...

Yeah, I've done it plenty of times. Just make sure you wrap it really good so there's absolutely NO cake uncovered. I even froze a fully decorated cake and it turned out really good!
