I have rolled buttercream that I have kept in my fridge, wrapped well in plastic wrap and sealed in a Zip Lock bag. It's been in there about three months (a little less). Do you think I can still use it? It looks fine, and tastes good. Also, it's made with confectioner's sugar, shortening, corn syrup and flavorings, so it seems like it should be fine... I just wanted to know whether you would still use it or if you think I should toss it. Thanks in advance for your responses!

I only kept mine about a week or so because it took me that long to finish the pieces on my cake. I don't know how it would hold up after 3 months inthe fridge.
Maybe someone else can give you a better answer
