I'm in need of a wedding style cake and I don't have the time to travel / decorate. I know there is someone on here from Richlands and another from Lumberton (I'm travelling from GA, so I'll deal with anyone on the NC side of my route.

I don't know what your route is but I am located in Sanford, NC
which is between Raleigh and Fayetteville.

I travel 95 until right at Lumberton, then 74, over the river and through the woods until I get to Richlands, then Jacksonville, Swansboro, Morehead. But if necessary, I can go up to 70 through New Bern. Our time is going to be tight (hence not doing it myself).

50 wedding anniv. Approx 100 guests and here's the doozy - March 10 icon_surprised.gif . Two tier. Buttercream, some fondant accents perhaps. Yellow and green were the wedding colors. Easy to transport.

no can do...booked here too! (drat! was envisioning lovely twisted green square tiers, with golden flowers "touched" w/ gold luster dust --- tho' I REALLY prefer to do ALL fondant cause then easy to add yellow ribbon)

anyone else??? (feel free to use the suggested design or come up w/ something more beautiful still!)

on and BTW: what are the flowers for the wedding?

it's 50 anniversary. I've seen the photos of the wedding, but you know, my brain just didn't register what they were. I'm considering setting up shop at a friend's house, but I would really rather party and pay someone else to do the work.

It's amazing. The area has some killer caterers, but not much when it comes to bakers.

Am too far west for you. . . for me it would be a 3 hour trip for a cake, or I would jump on it!

I can't help you as far as making a cake, but you could try the Belmont Village here in Fayetteville NC. They do wedding cakes and things like that. Their e-mail address is as follows: web = weddingvenders.com/m/belmont. Phone number: 910-8433 or 910-6068. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I'm in Wilmington. I couldn't deliver on the 10th, but you could pick it up if you're interested. I love the offset square idea... a 12" and 10" would be 100 servings. pm me if you want to talk more.
