I am addicted to cookie decorating now! Where do you all get your supplies (cookie sticks, bags, etc). Also, do you like the lolipop or the cookie sticks better? Thanks!

Cookie decorating is awesome! thumbs_up.gif I get most of my supplies from Michaels and AC Moore. I use the cookie sticks for big cookies and lollipop ones for smaller cookies.

I order most of my cookie cutters off of the internet. There have been several great threads posted with lists of cookie cutter vendors, check them out for a good starting point. For bags, I've been buying them at Hobby Lobby, but I'm going to start ordering them in bulk soon from Nashville Wraps or ULine.

The last three cookie bouquets I did, I used popsicle sticks, and I've been really happy with them! They're cheap, strong, and my cookies DON'T SPIN anymore! If I need a longer stick, I glue a couple together with wood glue.

someting else that will work too is to use wooden skewers ( like you grill with ) they work really good and are cheap 99 cent for a package of 50 or 100...i use them for my cookies on a stick and for bouquets. they are really easy to shorten with a sharp pair of sissors.

and to keep the round ones from spinning ...after the cookie is cooled all the way, take the stick out and pipe a little bit of your royal into the hole and then put your stick back in when it dries it will hold your stick in place so that it dosent spin on you

www.kitchengifts.com is where I buy almost all of my cutters. I like them because most of them are large and I prefer a larger cookie!

I buy the bags at Hobby Lobby and the ribbon.

I did use skewers but they are too thin for me so I will start using the white thicker sticks from now on.

I have fixed cookies that spin on the stick with candy melts, works great!
