I need to make a beehive cake and would like to use my Pyrex bowl instead of buying a wondermold pan. Can anyone muster a guess how many servings I can get out of the Pyrex bowl? I need this cake to serve 20 people. The diameter of the top of the bowl is 7 and a half inches, so I'm thinking I could just stack an 8 inch cake that I trim underneath it. What do you think?? icon_confused.gif

I am guessing that you are using the third bowl if you have the set of four? You might just want to use the next size up bowl for it and by adding your other cake you should be fine in serving size.

The easiest way is to fill your bowl with water measure the amount this is your volume. if it holds 6-7 cups thats 1 cake mix but with that shape your servings are figured different. HTH
