I need a really good recipe for stabilized whipped icing. Does anyone have one that they use all the time and love? It will be my first time making it.

I have used this recipe many times. It holds up well, you can color it (be gentle!), you can pipe simple borders with it. It won't be completely smooth but that's the price you pay for yummy wc! icon_smile.gif

Which recipe, dodibug???

I like this one:

The main reason I like it is because it doesn't need to be refigerated. One tip I discovered is to dissolve the salt into the water before putting it in the mixer. The flavor seems more even to me.

This recipe takes color very well, also...
