I have one customer who is soooo organized...she is already ordering cupcakes for her children's classes for Valentines parties....so I thought I'd start thinking ahead and wondered if any of you had ideas you would share with me?

I agree, this time I should think ahead of time and avoid coming up with ideas in the last minute. I saw in collete peters book a 3D heart so I eyeing that one. It's blue with swiss dots.

Don't you have Christmas cakes and treats to do?

Haha - yes, I do. But I have those planned out so I figured since she placed the order I'd at least start thinking about it.

I'm wanting to try a heart, covered in fondant with an "arrow" going through it...in non traditional colors...sort of like this one. I bet there could be a variation done of it for cup cakes. icon_biggrin.gif

I can't bear to think about Valentine's yet. I don't even sell cakes and I'm already all caked out from Christmas stuff. I don't want to see another rum ball for a good while. icon_razz.gif

you sound like my drama students.

in the middle of rehearsals for the fall play they ask "so, and how are we going to do ------- for the musical?"

excuse me, can i finish the fall play first?

I like that cake...it has a different look to it.
