If you go to the galleries and click on search and type in military there are several pages of cakes for inspiration. HTH

Maybe you could do a FBCT of the Marines Logo and at this site countrykitchensa.com they have these really nice sugar eagles which by the way I will be using on the next cake I do for my daughters ROTC class. I just love the eagle idea especially for military cakes .

Lots of military ideas in the galleries! My son also is in the National Guard. The graduation is quite impressive! Where is he graduating from? Thank them both from me! usaribbon.gif

There are alot of military ones in the gallery, i have seen. Tell your daughter and son thanks from one military family to the next. My husband is prior Marine and now serves in the Army National Guard. In fact his unit is over seas in Iraq at this time.

I just did a Marines cake last week and you can see pics of it in my album, see one photo of it below. If you type in the word military or Marines, Air Force, Army or Navy you will pull a lot of pics.

Give your son and daughter a big thanks from me please! usaribbon.gifthumbs_up.gif

i just did a military cake for one of our friends. i did his uniform which has his ribbons and everything. If you just wanted a simple sheet cake you could do their National Guard decal the one that has the American flag next to National and Guard underneath. It depends on what his job is. If hes on a helo or a tank that would be cool to make one of those. Since he's just getting out of training maybe a shooting range or the obstacle course? Congratulations on two of your children serving our country in the military.

If your son is graduating boot camp from the National Guard, he probably won't want the Marine Corps logo (although, being that I am a former Marine myself, I'd do it!). How about chevrons for a cake?
