I live about four hours from there...

I have been thinking about going there..but I hate to drive....

Yep, Lived down the street from the school for over 10 years, then I moved about 1/2 hr away south.

I am about 10-15 minutes away. I was just at the Homewares store yesterday!! I get in alot of trouble everytime I go!!

It's about 30-45 minutes southwest of Chicago, by Downers Grove, Westmont, Woodridge...

I'm not that far from there. But as much as I love the wilton store, I have found a new love. A cake supply stores on the south side of chicago that carries all the things that wilton does not. It's a lifesaver for me because I don't care much for ordering over the internet much.

Where is that located & what's it called? Sounds like it may be worth a trip...Are their prices reasonable?

I have been there before. I think it was about 6 months ago (before they moved) it was a bit of a hike for me. And of course I got lost on the way.The prices were a bit higher than I have found on the internet. The only thing I really liked was they had a large selection of cookie cutters!!!

I almost forgot, when I was at that store, they were offering cake decorating classes! The owners were very nice, I think it was a husband and wife.

yep that's my new love. the owners are very nice and helpful. the owner is a wilton teacher who opened the store because she had a hard time finiding things that she needed for her cakes. anything that they don't have in sotck they are willing to order. the owner says that is how she stays current on her customers needs.
