On Wednesday afternoon while minding my own business and innocently doing the dishes, I was attacked by a glass that decided to pop on my hand and 12 stiches later I've got a right hand that hurt like heck and a hand I can barely use-and i'm a righty!!! I apprehended the attacker and tossed him in the can! I cut a nice L shape below my index finger, kind of between knuckle area and hand area! I'm just glad I don't have alot of cake stuff to do until the end of next week!

I did the exact same thing this summer..... 10 stitches in my left hand and I am left handed. My scar looks horrible.... hope yours heals better.

The exact same thing happened to mom when I was growing up and it's one of those lessons I learned by way of my mom that I never forgot.

The funny thing is I usually wear gloves when I wash dishes and for some reason I didn't put them on this time. I don't have a clue why I didn't! Lesson definitely learned! So far it looks pretty good. I'm keeping it slathered in polysporin which is supposed to help.
Mine got really infected. I was cleaning it.... i don't know why it it got infected but it was pretty bad for a while. The ER doctor did a pretty crazy job on it.... I wasn't even numb and felt each stitch going in. I'm sure yours will heal better!
