I just went and weighed in and I'm DOWN 2.8! SO excited. I'm only .2 lbs away from my December goal of 5 lbs. (I was going easy since it was the holidays and such.)

Anyway--are we still a group?

I was wondering the same thing, but I just assumed it had something to do with the holidays. I hope we are still a group and keep going. I have just held the same but I think that is good, with all of the baking and eating that I have been doing.

Lisa I just wanted to say hang in there you are doing great. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas is very hard for me, but as long as I hold the same during this period I will be happy. After New Year I plan to go for the weight loss with my all. But it will be a healthy weight loss.

Ken all I can say is WOW do you have any secrets? Your weight loss is great, and congratulations. Way to go.

Lisa and Wilma,
Its low carb. I have been trying to stay under 20g total carbs a day. Have not been increasing exercise. Just staying off the sugars, not just added sugar. Eating meat, green vegatables, cheese, eggs. It was really easier than I thought it would be........especially with my hobby. Now I just make cake, not eat it. I have been experimenting with some recipies for low carb cakes using soy flour. Got one recipe for a low carb version of Italian cream cake almost down pat. It has 4.5g net carbs per slice. I will post the recipe when I get it just a little better.

have a good day,
Ken

Hi Everyone,

I apologize for not posting the WW thread....I have been crazy busy with cakes, and I thought people were losing interest due to the holidays. I am doing fair....no loss no gain but I need to get back in the zone....I had been doing so well. Congrats on your losses!!! Can't wait to get your recipe Ken!!

Congrats to you all! I didn't work on my weight loss at all. I gained a pound. icon_sad.gif

I have a question...

My mom lives a little over an hour south of me and she really wants to do WW. There are not any classes down there close enough or convenient enough for her schedule so I figured maybe we could accomplish a good bit of it over the phone. My question is: How do I figure out my daily points allowance for the Flex Plan? I haven't taken the class in over a year now and can't find all my stuff. My mom has misplaced the extra books and stuff that I gave her as well.

Can someone list the chart from the "Getting Started" part of their booklet? I just need to figure out my mom's weight/points ratio.

Thanks for all your help. I plan on keeping you guys posted on how we're doing. I've got 40 lbs to lose total and my mom has about 30. Thanks again, Tarina

Hi,

I do WW online and I would be happy to look things up for you if you need me to. I think I can even see how many point a day you or her needs.

Thanks Berta! I have access to my boss' WW account online and tried to find it but didn't see it anywhere. I was afraid to change any of his information for fear it would reset the entire plan for him.

I am about to restart the WW plan. I did it a few years ago after the birth of my 2nd child, then fell off the plan when my husband deployed to Iraq. Luckily I havent gained any weight and have managed to maintain the same weight by eating right. Now I finally decided to restart the Points program at home with the info I saved during my time at WW. How does this support system work here on CC with the WW program? T -5 days and counting (1.2.05 is my WW start date).

peachstate, I don't know how they are doing this either...I kinda just jumped in on one of the threads I saw. I think with it being the holidays, it is kinda scarce around here, especially with the WW group. I'm hoping that I'll get a better understanding of what they are doing as well. I am starting back officially today with tracking my points. My mom is going to do this with me so that will help. My little SIL wants me to go to the 12 week program that is starting up next week but I don't have an extra $160 laying around. The sad thing is that I'm lifetime but over my weight goal since I stopped. I have to lose 18 pounds before I can go for free again!!
