I want to make a cake with a fondant bow (using pre-made fondant). How far in advance can I make the fondant bow before I put it on the cake?

You can make it a month in advance, because all that will happen is go rock hard. And you want that to happen for a bow.

Just like Tweety said, sure can make it way ahead. I store my stuff in a shoebox to keep the dust off and to keep it from changing colors from lights/sun. Jen
