DH bought semi-sweet instead of bittersweet, WHAT will happen wil this be toooo SWEET!!!! and is it a must to have bittersweet???????

Also while I am here, when pouring, pour from inside out or just pour in one spot (the middle)

I use semi sweet with my ganache. It will be fine. What are you making?

semi-sweet should be ok...no one will gag

as for pouring-- I start in center and sort of swirl around out to edges to get full coverage (a complete shell). Other times I've just poured in center and let it go and drip "artistically" down the sides. I've even seen it done where it's only poured at edge to get a drip effect.
