Any Tips On Fairie Wings ,hands And Feet?

I just tried out my fondant fairies tonight following the tutorial...which i love!but i just cant get the details of the hands and feet correct...i tried molding it with a toothpick but that didnt work out so well. is there an easy was of forming hands and feet??? and im not quite sure yet how to make wings. any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there,

What I do is I take two balls of gumpaste or fondant, same size. Take one roll part into a cylinder (for the arm) leave a little ball at the end for the hand, smoosh it down a little to flatten it and use an exacto knife to cut the slits for the fingers. Then I round out and elongate the fingers and seperate the thumb, carefully using fingers and exacto knife.
