Is 155.00 worth going to a ICES weekend of sharing. Does the demos teach you anything or do they just tell you enough to get interested in it and have to buy their videos to learn the rest. I want to go but I will have to take a weekend off to go there and I was just wondering what everybody thought about it.[/i]

It depends upon whether they are hands-on classes, what the class is on, and who is teaching it.

I would be willing spend a lot of money on hands-on classes, but only if it is to learn something I do not already know, and if it is taught by someone whom I know is expert in that technique.
