add a touch of black to kelly green or leaf green.
The black will do the trick, in my experience. But be careful...add a little at a time. If it gets too dark, it's almost impossible to lighten it back up to the shade you want. If that does happen, I just make another batch, color it with the green and then add some of the "too dark icing" to it until I get the shade I want. Hope that helps...good luck!

If you look in the articles section They have one called the sparkling spruce. You can see the color they came up with. They mixed kelly green, black and royal blue. I followed it for christmas cookies its a nice tree color.
