Hi,
Thanks to all my friends here in the forum and all the info I've been able to gather I decided to take the plunge into my first mmf covered cake. here is the question.. I covered the cake in fondant .. I have a colorflow piece to put on top of the cake which is the main decoration... how do I attach the colorflow piece to the fondant ?... my concern is that I've read that buttercream will disolve colorflow ... I have to get the cake done today because I'm going out of town and my friend who is working with me and will be delivering the cake on Sunday doesn't want to deal with this last minute. any insight will be greatly appreciated!!
royall... now why didn't I think of that?? ... I think I panicked
...thanks

I'm pretty new to cake decorating .. I learned the technique in the second wilton course ... it's almost like royal icing .. you put an extra powder called color flow .. it allows you to make images on wax paper ..which later can be peeled off to put on cakes or cookies .. if you look in my pictures you'll see the darth vader image was made like that
