I keep debating on taking the Wilton Cake Classes. I haven't had any classes. I know I would love it, but which one. Should I take the first or start with the second. Has everyone here taken them? What did you especially like?

I think they are totally worth it. I'd start with the first one - plus, I think you have to anyway. I know the store I take classes makes you go in order.

I've had class 1 & 2. I will be taking course 3 in the spring. Both 1&2 were good. Course 1 teaches basics of getting cake level, icing cake smooth, shell border, star tip, Wilton rose. Course 2 teaches colorflow and royal icing flowers such as daisy, pansey, apple blossom and rope and reverse shell borders.

for the price, it doesn't hurt to take the first one first, as it's pretty much a requirement unless you have some other in, at most places.
