I was thinking of trying my first frozen buttercream transfer...the cake is for a child's birthday party at a chuckee cheese type place. It will probably sit for a couple of hours without refrigeration. I was wondering if the transfer would melt or bleed?

Any other hints as well?

Thanks! You are all always so helpful!

I'm no expert since I haven't made many fbct's but so far I haven't experienced any colour bleeding, and "no" they don't melt, they just thaw out. Yoy only freeze the bct in order to be able to transfer it to the cake so once it is on the cake you may leave it out of the freezer or fridge.

After it thaws it's like any other decoration you put on your cake. It's like your borders or anything else you would pipe on your cake.
