I want to make some bows. Has anyone used Tylose in MMF. I know you can use in fondant.

I don't see why not ... the biggest difference between MMF and regular fondant is just the amount of sugar ... tylose should work the same in either one! (note: I've never used MMF)

From my understand Tylose and Gum-Tex work the same. There are people on here that have tried Gum-Tex and have had it work with the MMF so I don't know why the Tylose wouldn't as well.

You can always try it on a small piece and let us know how it goes. icon_smile.gif

In Toba Garretts cake book she said the easiest gumpaste recipe is just take fondant and add Tylose to it.

So there you have it.
