I'm wondering how long these last? I've had mine for quite awhile maybe 5 years.... but just recently, in the last year or so have been using it regularly. Last night it sounded about on its last leg, but then again its always kinda sounded like that.

Does anyone know if you can send them in for a tune up? Or do you just have to wait for it to break? icon_confused.gif

I'm definitely interested in this answer as I inherited mine from DH aunt last year so I don't even know how old it really is.

What about a call to Kitchenaid's 800 number? detective.gif

They should be able to tell us!

I don't have a clue. I've had mine for at least 18 years. It's still going strong. But, I ordered the KA600, and it should be in today! Sure will be glad to have a second one.
