Starting course II tonight, first class. Do I need a cake to decorate for the first class? Or just icing?

What do we learn the first class? I don't have a book yet.

Thanks, : )

nope, just need icing.
you learn some more borders and flowers... the only time you need to make a cake in course II is for the last class icon_biggrin.gif

You dont have to take anything to course one on the first night. I didn't anyway. My instructor just went over the book and demonstrated techniques for us. She also asked if there was anything we needed to review from the first class.

Hope this helps, and good luck with your cake. I love the buggy picture!

You won't need a cake but you will need buttercream icing in each consistency for practicing just like in Course 1.

No, you don't need any cake for the 1st class of course two. Make sure you bring your practice board, flower nail, wax paper, tips, and icing.

The store where you registered should give you a syllabus of things you'll need to bring with you to the first night's class. If they didn't do this or they don't have a list, contact the instructor. She can tell you what to bring. icon_smile.gif
