I am currently taking a break from baking and decorating cookies for 13 cookie bouquets for my realtor. I am sitting here looking at my dining room and kitchen and there is no surface visible because of the cookies. Not to mention there are a million boxes all over due to us planning on moving soon but it was put off a month 
. I am beat and I still have more to do.. I had to come on here and share knowing you all would understand

Well by now I hope you found your kitchen. I can relate, due to the fact I have been baking for days, up late every night (4 hours of sleep), but now I can finally go to be early tonight after I decorate the tree. My daughter brought the goodies/baked goods to school for her friends today.
That last cake I did I worked on for several days. I TRASHED my kitchen and I cleaned it all up and decided from now on I will only work "cleanly"... I started cookies last night and actually cleaned up between steps and my kitchen actually looks decent this morning. I'm so proud of myself!
Yes Yes!! I am buried under homemade marshmallows waiting to be dipped in chocolate, royal icing snowflakes and a cake waiting to be frosted for bunco tonight! Good Luck!!! I feel your pain!

I know the feeling-just finished making the fbt for my dd's cupcake cake for tomorrow. Why I had a december baby when there's all this christmas baking I haven't even started yet I'll never know LOL. This is cake number three for her birthday and then it's christmas stuff!!!
I love homemade marshmallows but not sure if I have time to make them

i woke up this morning and walk down to my kitchen and almost had a heart attack... i was up until 1 am putting the finishing touches to my holiday cakes and was too tired to clean anything... it should be a joy trying to make any kind of dinner tonight after work...
After the last cake baking/decorating extravaganza DH came out to the kitchen as I was putting the final touch on the cake, he called our son out and declared that he was going to build a 'special cake room' just for Mommy so that they could find the real kitchen. I guess I'm a messy marvin when I bake. 
But isn't that part of the fun??
