okay I thought i would try something new.I wanted a lemon cookie to cut out, well i thought i would use a recipe i had (never tried before). well it cut really nice but baking was not so good. "My cute little teddy bear was a little on the pudgy side" I guess you dont know until you try...
So, does anyone have a lemon cookie that will cut and bake nicely? If so please share.

I just use the NFSC recipe and substitute lemon extract for the vanilla. Sometimes I add just a little more to give it a little kick.

I also use NFSC with lemon extract and a bit of lemon zest...yummy!

I use the Lemon Butter Cookie I found at kitchengifts.com - just look under the recipes link. I've also just added a few teaspoons of lemon zest to my normal cut-out cookie recipe. I think the zest gives it a better lemon flavor than the extract. Best of luck!
