depends on what flavor you are looking for. I love red velvet cake mix w/choc pudding w/ cream cheese frosting or white cake w/cheesecake or white chocolate pudding with buttercream dream frosting (also good mixed w/a little strawberry preserves). Lemon cake with lemon jello drizzled with lemon juice & sugar mixture..i could go on forever!

Just make the batter the same way only put it into cupcake thingys instead of a cake pan. There's nothing to it!

I would add a little extra sour cream and/or butter. Because they are small, cupcakes tend to dry out more than cake does.
