The Cookies 'N Cream filling from the WBH cookbook is so unbelievably easy. I wish it was a tad more flavorful, but maybe it will be when it is between two chocolate cake layers. icon_biggrin.gif

I love that recipe!...use it all the time. It tastes fabulous with chocolate cake. I like that it's not sweet because I find buttercream sweet enough.

Is it the same Cookies n cream filling that is listed here in the fillings recipe section? I made it for my rubik's cube cake and tasted like whipped cream with cookies just like bananaslug 14 said.

I use this filling frequently - it is YUMMY! It is just whipped cream with crushed Oreo's. I think it's even better in white cake - the chocolate tends to cover the taste of the Oreo IMHO. It is tasty in either cake, but white is my favorite!

I just recently discovered this one too! I use Frostin' Pride, whip it up, add the crushed oreos. So delicious, so simple...and not overpoweringly sweet...(is overpoweringly even a word?) icon_confused.gif

OK-this may sound stupid, but, is icing sugar the same as confectioner's sugar? I'm just makimg sure so I don't do something wrong.
