I'm wanting to make an XBox 360 cake for my DH but have never made anything like it before. Could someone help me out and tell me how to make the shape? etc
I just did an xbox controller. It's a carved 13 x 9 and was very easy to do. The xbox 360 is just a white box with gray sides...you really need to just look at one if you can get a hold of one. But a second easier choice might be to just do the controller like I did. My child has a 360 controller; it's a very light gray; similar but not exact to what I did. What I did for my regular xbox controller is just google image xbox controller. Found a decent straight on photo; printed it out; then enlarged it to the size I needed to get it as close to a 13 x 9 size as possible. And I just used that as a template. Cut out a few circles of various sizes for the buttons; and made a cord of black fondant; and voila! It was really quite easy and I think it turned out nice.
