Gumpaste Decorations In The Fridge??

How well do gumpaste decorations hold up in the fridge?? I'm going to a holiday party at work next week and decided to bring a cheesecake. The cheesecake will be covered w/a Chocolate glaze and I had planned on doing a few fondant decorations on top (a wreath w/a bow), but then realized the fondant wouldn't do so well in the fridge. How well will gumpaste hold up if I placed the decorations on the cake the night before and put in the fridge overnight??
Does gumpaste react the same as fondant does to being put in the fridge??
I think you should be fine, but I have never tried this (I always but GP on dead last - like on site last.) I want to bump you up to see what someone else says...
well it is for a party at work...so I won't have time in the morning before work to put any decorations on. and i bought some premade gumpaste and have only used it once....so I'm not sure how it reacts in humidity.
might go ahead and give it a try...just to see what happens.
thanks for the help.
