I wanted to know who has a good crusting buttercream icing without shortening in it. I am doing some cake squares and need one quick.
if you are going to color the buttercream and the ivory color isn't an issue then use all butter instead of any shortnening. Just remember that this won't hold up as long as shortening bc. Just use the "Wilton" recipe" but all butter.
