Decorating By aliciaL_77 Updated 12 Dec 2005 , 10:24pm by FunnyCakes
I saw a rose nail with the cone already a part of the nail itself.. does anyone know where I can find one? I looked at cakedeco.com but I do not have enough need to order their $50 minimum.. any help is appreciated. TIA

Thanks!
I could not for the life of me remember the other supply sites.. Long day and too much brain-draining stress.
You dont have to make the base.. then you use your rose scissors as you turn the nail to remove it
not from what I saw.. I saw it on TV and you pipe the rose as normal and place you scissors under it and twist the nail as you lift the flower
I can make the cones all right and if I let them set out a bit before I do the petals it helps but my biggest problem is that the little square of waxed paper keeps sliding around on the nail. Even if I put frosting on it. I must be doing something wrong.
I used ticky-tacky once and the paper stuck so darned much that I messed up the rose just trying to get it off the nail.
There HAS to be an easier way.![]()
Thank you for the tip! I will definetly get some and try it.
