Hello all! I have to make a John deere cake next month and I can't seem to get my thoughts together on it. I am not sure how many people it will have to feed yet. But I do know I want the john deere on it. So I am looking for ideas from you all! Thanks Megan

I made a cake with the JD emblem on it. It's in my pictures.

Silvercat~My sister had a JD cake for my nephew's bday last year. It looked like an ariel view of fields and there was a little JD tractor right in the middle of it with a path behind him of where he'd already been. You could maybe do a fondant one if you didn't want to put a metal one there. It was really cute.

What if you did a simple two-tier cake with grass/reeds/grassy decorations, etc on it and then a John Deer tractor on top.. either molded from Fondant or Gumpaste or just an edible image that's been stood up.

I made one a couple of weeks ago for a groom's cake. Mother of groom bought little JD tractor, front end loader, etc. Made grassy field, some looked like worked land, had a fence, etc. Was really cute.
