How can I prevent this? I am using Wilton's violet coloring gels. Thanks in advance. icon_biggrin.gif

The only time I had this happen was when I put too much corn syrup into the frosting. Oh and it did not bleed right away...it was the next morning.

I am using the Wilton Buttercream Icing with merengue powder in it. The color does not start bleeding until at least 8 hours after I have decorated it. I was thinking it was the coloring gel but not sure.
