Hi all,

Does anyone have this item? If so, does it reall hold up real well?? My concern is that it looks like its hard plastic and I was wondering if the cakes didn;t end up sliding off or if the stand breaks. Please let me know.

Thanks! Mimi

I have it. I haven't used it yet but it is very sturdy. The plates are really nice. The only thing I don't like is the bottom piece. It is styrofoam. But it could be covered with pretty fabric.

Hi,

I have used the three tier cake stand for a wedding. The only thing is that you have to tell them that to cut the cake to take it off the stand.

Other then that there was no problems

Hi, Mimi:

I just did a wedding cake this past weekend and used a 4 tier stand that I purchased from Southern Merchandising Group out of Bee Branch Arizona. It was clear plastic. I have to admit that I was TERRIFIED when I placed the cakes on the stands after I got to the reception hall. I had actually used double sided tape and placed on the bottoms of the tier tubes before putting them into the slots on the base. Everything worked out well, although it was a tad bit wobbly.

We took the cakes off of the tiers before serving...for the sake of not tipping the rest of it over. You should check out their site. They have some beautiful items. I will be posting a pic of that cake as soon as I get them back.

Good luck!

Wanda

Hi Ladies,

Thanks do muh for your feedback. I would like to purchase it but I'm bit concerned as to how it will hold up. Also if it would be worth my money to purchase it.

Thanks again!
Mimi

I was asking cause my boss wanted to know what "cake supplies" I needed and that she would buy me something off of my xmas list...so I gave her my list and I would her she would get a deal if sheused the coupons...needless to say she was thrilled that i was telling her where to get these things and that i would save her $$$...
