I've been making candy all morning. Here's what I've done so far:

Crockpot Candy (basically peanut clusters)---super easy and very good

Pumpkins Fudge: from Recipezaar recipe by NurseDi--Wonderful

Peanut Butter Fudge: from Food Network by Alton Brown--Super easy and
Yummy!!!

Kahlua Fudge: from recipegoldmine website---very good also

Still have one more batch of chocolate pecan to do and then it is on to the cookie baking phase.....

Happy Baking!!! and Happy Holidays!!!

Congrats on your good recipe finds!

I tried to make caramel popcorn last night and it was a disaster. Thank goodness popcorn is cheap. icon_smile.gif

I also used almond bark for the first time last night. It melts easily, doesn't thicken too quickly and sets well. However, it does not taste like chocolate. The flavor is kin to chocolate, but much too sugary. There was no big cost savings with the almond bark so I will stick with chocolate.

So far, my big winners are Kaluha and rum balls. How did I ever live without these babies?!! icon_biggrin.gif The kaluha balls were a wee bit strong the next day so I will use 1/4c the next time I make them.
